I will like to know at which stage you can translate your passion into something that is acknowledged through the form of an MBE
Will you say that if you believe in something very much and you are not getting breakthrough, put your own money into it?
The point of the MBE in this case was to reward her passion, as it was focussed on doing some good. Financial success is not an issue – as long as the project is sustainable. She seemed a perfect candidate for it.
From what I gather, Justice was great at sourcing funding from various organisations to keep her projects going. I’m guessing the personal debt she ran up was because she wasn’t making enough to support herself through the early days.
